Tuesday’s Obscure Car of the Day

Today’s car comes from the files of Chrysler. The 2005 Chrysler Firepower was built to emulate a grand tourer car. It rides on a Viper based chassis that is powered by a 6.1-liter HEMI V8. It was built under the direction of The SRT high-performance group. Equipped with a 5-speed automatic transmission it can reach 0-60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds with an estimated a top speed of 175 mph.

The exterior is covered in Hydro Silver Pearl, with dark carbon fiber and polished aluminum accents. While the interior consists of a combination of Ocean Deep Blue with Oyster leather and Behr maple accents.
