As many of you know the Chevy Camaro has made it to the market after a prolonged delay. Although there are relatively few in the street and it suffers from a majority of quality issues, I have some news that should send shock waves into the high performance market.
Hennessey Performance has successfully completed the ZR1-powered HPE700.
Between the fends lays a Corvette ZR1’s LS9 motor, a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 capable of 638 horsepower, 604 ft-lb torque and top speed 205 mph in Corvette guise. This car was highly praised by Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear, who said Ferrari should worry.
The Hennessey HPE700 will have 705 horsepower and 717 ft-lbs of torque. However, only 24 examples will be produced and 11 have been already sold. If you’re interested, check out the official specs and features on the Hennessey Performance website.
